Panchkula (Haryana) [India], July 20 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal, addressed a public rally in Haryana’s Panchkula, where she promised the people that if AAP forms government in the state, then the people will be provided free 24 hour electricity, free treatment, free education, Rs 1000 every month to all mothers and sisters, and employment to every youth.
“My husband belongs to Haryana. I got married to him in 1994. His family stays in Hisar. They are commoners. Arvind Kejriwal was reared up and educated in Hisar. Nobody, even in a dream, could think that he would rule the national capital. You will be surprised that he was born on the day of Krishna Janmashtami. I feel that God wants him to do something; otherwise, it is not possible for a common man like Kejriwal to attain so much,” said Sunita Kejriwal while addressing the public in Haryana’s Panchkula.
Further, she went on to say that Arvind Kejriwal has worked a lot to improve schools, hospitals, and electricity availability in the national capital and Punjab.
“He formed his own party and became the Chief Minister of Delhi in the first attempt. He changed the dynamics of the country’s politics. He has improved the schools in Delhi and Punjab. He changed the destiny of poor people. He is known worldwide for his work. He worked to make the mohalla clinics’ situations better so that poor people could get free treatments. He made electricity free. People earlier were suffering due to long power cuts, but now everyone is getting 24-hour electricity. He has made the pilgrimage free for the elderly,” said Arvind Kejriwal’s wife.
Launching an attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she said, “Is there any other party that took such initiatives? That is why Modi Ji is so jealous of him. That is why he framed false cases against him. Will you tolerate this in silence? Your kejriwal is a lion. He won’t sit quietly in front of Modi ji.”
Urging people in Haryana to support AAP and not the BJP in the Haryana assembly elections, he said that the polls are held after three months, and adding to that, she appealed, “People must make sure that the BJP does not even get a single seat.”
Notably, prominent leaders of the party, including AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Sandeep Pathak and Sushil Gupta, were present at the occasion. (ANI)
