Karnataka: State Level Single Window Clearance Committee approves 88 projects worth Rs 4,071 crore – World News Network

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], September 27 (ANI): The 148th State-Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) meeting, chaired by the Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, MB Patil, approved 88 projects amounting to a total investment of Rs 4,071.11 crore, according to a press release.
These projects are expected to generate employment opportunities for approximately 10,585 people across the state.
Among the notable approvals are proposals from Aratt One World Pvt. Ltd. and Dairy Classic Ice Creams Private Limited, which plan to invest Rs 485 crore and Rs 285 crore, respectively. The minister, who chaired the meeting at the Karnataka Udyog Mitra (KUM) office, accorded approval for 88 projects in a single meeting on Thursday.
MB Patil emphasized that the approved projects would promote equitable investment across various regions of the state, particularly benefiting the districts of Karnataka. The minister noted that the committee approved 14 major large and medium projects with capital investments exceeding Rs 50 crore, amounting to Rs 2031.76 crore, and expected to create employment for around 3302 people.
Additionally, 68 new projects with investments ranging from Rs 15 crore to Rs 50 crore were approved, out of which Rs 1355.07 crore will be capital investment and employment opportunities will be available to approximately 5049 people. Six additional capital investment schemes, amounting to Rs 684.28 crore, were also approved, which will create employment opportunities for about 2234 people.
In total, the 88 projects approved will bring in investments of Rs 4071.11 crore and generate employment for 10,585 people.
The meeting was attended by several key officials, including Selvakumar S, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Commerce and Industries; Gunjan Krishna, IAS, Commissioner for Industrial Development and Director, Department of Commerce and Industries; Dodda Basavaraju, MD of Karnataka Udyoga Mitra; Darshan H.V, IAS, Director of Electronics, IT/BT and other senior officers from various departments.
