Leh (Ladakh) [India], August 31 (ANI): Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, former Member of Parliament for Ladakh, former BJP State President, and former Chief Executive Councillor of LAHDC Leh, today met with Brig (Retd) Dr BD Mishra, the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, to extend his deep gratitude to the Union Territory Administration of Ladakh.
This meeting was held in recognition of the Ministry of Home Affairs’ recent announcement to establish five new districts in Union Territory of Ladakh.
Jamyang Tsering Namgyal applauded Lt. Governor Brig Dr. BD Mishra for his steadfast support of the demands he raised inside and outside Parliament during his tenure in the 17th Lok Sabha. JTN particularly praised the Lt. Governor’s efforts to fulfill the long-standing need for district status for Zanskar, Nubra, Changthang, Sham, and Drass. Jamyang Tsering Namgyal lauded the Modi Government’s decision as a landmark achievement that aligns with the aspirations of the people from these regions. Jamyang Tsering Namgyal described this decision as a significant milestone, marking a historic shift towards improved governance in every nook and corner of Ladakh. He recognised the forward-thinking policies of the UT Ladakh Administration and the substantial progress made over the past five years in the newly established Union Territory under the visionary leadership of Lt Governor Brig Dr. B.D. Mishra as rightly guided by the most dynamic Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In addition to expressing his gratitude, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal urged the Lt.
