Rudraprayag (Uttarakhand) [India], November 12 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday led a bike rally in Augustmuni, Rudraprayag and said that victory is certain in the Kedarnath by-elections with the blessings of Baba Kedar.
“With the blessings of Baba Kedar, victory is certain. With the faith of the people, we have set out with a pledge to connect devotion with development,” said CM Dhami.
Meanwhile, CM Dhami addressed the public at the Scheduled Caste Swabhiman Sammelan organised at Chandrapuri in Kedarnath Assembly and highlighted the policies of the BJP and the development work done in the state.
On this occasion, while seeking support for BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal, he said that it is necessary to make the BJP victorious for the development and welfare of the Kedarnath Assembly constituency.
He said that the government aims to take every section of the society forward through development works, and the BJP’s resolve is to ensure the all-round development of the Kedarnath Assembly.
Chief Minister Dhami, in his address, underlined the commitment of the state government towards the empowerment of the Scheduled Caste community. He said that the BJP government has launched many important schemes keeping in mind the upliftment and respect of all sections of the society, which are also benefiting the Scheduled Caste community. BJP’s schemes to provide self-respect and equal opportunity have re-established trust and self-respect among the Scheduled Caste community.
In his address, the Chief Minister attacked the Congress and said that those who were earlier engaged in building illegal shrines are today talking about the protection of holy shrines.
He said that the politics of Congress is limited only to gaining power, while the BJP aims to preserve the culture and traditions of Devbhoomi and lead the state on the path of development. He also said that on November 23, the lies and misleading promises of Congress will be exposed, and the public will know the truth.
Notably, Kedarnath, an assembly segment under Pauri Garhwal Lok Sabha seat will witness polls on November 20. The bypoll here became necessary due to the demise of Shaila Rani Rawat who was MLA here. (ANI)
