New Delhi [India], July 1 (ANI): A meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Party will be held tomorrow in the national capital, sources said.
The sources said the meeting will be held in GMC Balayogi Auditorium of the Parliament Library Building (PLB) at around 9:30 am.
BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won a successive third term in office in the recently held Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP secured 240 seats, much lower than its 2019 tally of 303.
The Congress won 99 seats. While the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance won 293 seats, the opposition INDIA bloc won 234 seats.
A massive uproar erupted in the Lok Sabha on Monday over Rahul Gandhi’s remarks. BJP has accused the Raebareli MP of “insulting” the Hindu community.
Prime Minister Modi hit out at Rahul Gandhi over his remarks and said calling “the entire Hindu community violent is a very serious matter.” Home Minister Amit Shah said that the Congress leader should apologise for his remarks.
Participating in the debate on the motion of thanks on the President’s Address, Rahul Gandhi targeted the BJP-led government and alleged there has been “a systematic attack” on the idea of India. (ANI)
