Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 28 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday attended Regional Industry Conclave held in Gwalior district and expressed hope that a new door of development and employment will be opened in the state through the conclave.
CM Yadav also laid the foundation for 47 new industrial units in the state involving a cost of Rs 1586 crore at Regional Industry Conclave at Gwalior on Wednesday.
In a post on X, CM Yadav wrote, “New doors of development and employment are going to be opened in the state through Gwalior Regional Industry Conclave. On this occasion, discussions were held with the famous personalities of the industry and business world and they were made aware of the favourable conditions and opportunities for industries in Madhya Pradesh.”
This conclave of industrialists and investors in Gwalior-Chambal will create immense employment opportunities for the youth of the state and will accelerate industrial development, he further wrote.
After the event, CM Yadav told reporters, “People have shown interest in the MSME industry, machine-based, leather parks, employment-oriented industries, ready-made garments industry and other industries which employ a large scale. More than 4,000 participants have participated in it. Fifteen international delegations have participated in which delegations from Canada, Netherlands, Mexico have also participated today.”
“I am satisfied that all our arrangements were done with such dignity and pride that the old glorious tradition of Gwalior has been successful. More than 150 distinguished entities have partnered with us. Most of them were industrialists from different sectors like tourism, IT, footwear, Agriculture and various food processing units,” CM said.
Representatives of over 15 states have shown their interest in investing in Madhya Pradesh. Besides, after seeing the states’ policy, many industrialists running businesses in other states also express their interest to bring their units here, the Chief Minister said, adding that he suggests the industrialists continue their business at those locations and can open their new units in the state.
